Scott MacIntyre released a new song, “Remarkable,” to radio today. The release of the single comes in the wake of his recent recovery from a second kidney transplant.
“I feel blessed beyond measure to be able to release new music and prepare to resume my tour schedule,” Scott says. “Just a few months ago, my future was uncertain. But thanks to an anonymous kidney donor, the team at Vanderbilt, and my wife Christina, I was able to receive a new kidney and make a full recovery.”
“Remarkable” is the second single off of Scott’s latest album Lighthouse. Produced by Dove Award winner Kyle Lee, the song is a powerful reminder that even when we feel worthless, we are priceless in the eyes of God.
Lighthouse is available online and in stores and features 11 songs with unforgettable melodies and lyrics that testify to the faith, hope, and grace Scott has found in the midst of adversity. The project also features guest artists and fellow American Idol alumns Danny Gokey and Skylar Laine.
